When your family owns a boutique, independent restaurant, you can’t help but grow up with an appreciation for small business owners. And in my case, I was especially lucky to watch my grandma, who was way ahead of her time as a female entrepreneur. At 13, I started working for her as a hostess, dishwasher, busgirl, waitress... I did everything. And so did my grandma. That’s when I realized that when you own a small business, you must be a Chief Everything Officer. I think about that every day as I lead the U.S. Small Business Operation at Gallagher. Most of you are simply too busy running your business to properly research all you need to know about business insurance. It’s my job to make sure our team of small business experts understand your challenges, so we can consult and protect you, with the best service, experience and claims advocacy so your business can thrive.
One of the things I love most about my job is hearing the stories about how our clients started their businesses and what drove them to follow their passions and pursue their dreams!
Jen Tadin, Managing Director of Gallagher’s Global Small Business Practice, wrote a Forbes Business Development Council article on three key insurance coverages that every small business owner should consider when it comes to protecting their business.
